About me...

About Me

I have been immersed in the world of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) since my high school years. My journey began with hands-on carpentry work, which provided a solid foundation of practical experience in the field. After graduating from architecture school, I joined a multi-billion dollar general contractor in Chicago as a VDC engineer. During my five years there, I gained extensive experience working on mega-projects across the country.

Currently, I am a BIM Manager at an AEC firm where I have developed VDC standards from scratch, enhanced operational functions, implemented comprehensive training programs, and continuously develop custom solutions to streamline workflows.

My Motivation

My passion for VDC stems from a lifelong involvement in design, construction, and technology. I am driven by the ability to see the big picture and understand how each part influences the whole. This holistic understanding enables me to develop the best possible solutions for the projects I work on.

My Achievements

  • Ran BIM Coordination on nearly $500 million in projects.
     

  • Developed my architecture college's software tutor program.
     

  • Created BIM standards from scratch for an AEC firm.
     

  • Restructured existing processes to enhance efficiency and clarity.
     

  • Developed a training program for both new and experienced architects.
     

  • Currently working on adopting AI workflows and integrations for my AEC firm.
